we are riding up Friday morning , leaving 10.30.
You could just meet up with them Sat morning on their way down to the lakes as you say.
Have a ride around the lakes and then bomb back home.
What time Sat night you got to be back ?
Cheers, Ivan

If you ride up on Friday and camp you'll have to take all your gear with you on the Saturday run before heading home whereas if you go up on the Saturday morning you can travel light.
You're probably a similar distance as me. It'll take me about an hour and three quarters to get to Carlisle where I'll meet Hartside.
Just checked RAC routeplanner. This surprised me , its further from Liverpool to Carlisle than Glasgow to Carlisle !

Not really though about routes yet, if we get up that way in time we could head up over that pass north of Dunsop Bridge again, really enjoyed that last time. Depending where we stop Thursday we can either meet up with Matlock and co around Southport in the morning or meet them in Settle or Hawes later on.
cool
which way ya going from yours? A33? wanna meet up at mine or Madjeski stadium or sumwhere else?
i know a great route up to Market Harborough
