bin bag and bungy cords on the back seat, with your clothes and sleeping bag, any valubles in the top box.

This was my XJ 900 on a trip round scotland in 2006.

I loved cleaning that bike !!!!

Ah - that's a good point - dunno why I'm going to that Service Station then blush.gif Feckin' Alzheimers pimp.gif I could meetup around 4.15 at the roundabout/hotel at Carfraemill......................http://www.streetmap...p=newsearch.srf
Sounds good, dandy. We'll probably be early as we're taking a gentle run down leaving the 'deen at 12 noon.

I reckon im happy to go on the lakes tour on the sat. But re hartsides and hawmans concerns, i reckon there will be people on that run regardless - there are quite a few of us on the G2G afterall. All i would like is for the runs to be properly organised (with which im happy to assist) before we all leave base. Cannae wait!

the lakes is the lakes laugh.gif sometimes you can get a good clear run and other times it can be packed (it's not a bank holiday weekend so thats a help) anyway you ride a bike and therefore there is no such thing as a traffic jam LOL.

to be honest it has been really quiet around the lakes of late , most places are begging for business as its been a bit of a washout this year.

seasonally around sept / oct its a lot quieter than june to aug and the 2006 run in july wasnt that bad was it ??
the REASON I suggested the lakes was a few requests from last year and a few from this year, I am not trying to split any group or cause any aggro, I am more than happy to take 1 bike round or 20 bikes round, it matters naught to me. I never tire of the lakes cos i find a new road or a new sight or a sight in different light everytime i go.

the only thing i dislike is sitting waiting at a meeting point aimlessly when i could be riding badgrock.gif

Lakes and cakes.

I'll skip the Lakes trip thanks - I'd be happy to lead a group around the Borders, if a couple of us do that then we can meet at specific points on route for stops.

Tony's Moffat route is a goodun, I'd be happy take folks over the smaller routes, including the Bhuddah bit and all meetup at the cafe at St Mary's Lochside

Here's an alternative route to Tonys but where we can plan to meetup on route. A mixture of single track naggery bits, quick flowing bits and some crackin views if the weather's clear good.gif
Around 195 miles - back in time for a shower, pint and food. drinks.gif
I'll print off some copies
