Interesting - I had something similar on my Niner when I did a Picos/Pyrenees tour back in 2010 with Hartside & a couple of others

The screen was a TDM Toraneko Tiger screen, designed & made by an old Carpe member from Oz

It was very effective - but I took it off in the end, as it was starting to stress the screen mounting points on the fairing - something maybe you should be looking out for Eagle6

Piccy here -

That's the beauty of Carpe - everything has been tried out before  :good:

Just didn't feel right so I've dropped the bottom bracket/brace and think it sits a lot more upright.

Also fitted the upper brace with 10mm threaded bar covered with a piece of old aluminium walking pole.

Drilled through and opened it up for clearance.

Cut and held in place with nyloc nuts.

I'd thought of using a similar mounting method to the one on yours, with the sleeved bolts, and I thought stress would be my biggest issue. That's why I went with the brace at the bottom, hoping it would stop any shake. Also the top brace should help.

Time will tell!
