Suspecting a leak in the header to enterprise connection, I dismantled the exhaust and found that the header was all rotted through, and since the eterprise is quited dented i was thinking of getting a new complete exhaust. So now i'm in the market for something with a tad more sound, but I still would like it to be road legal.

Delkevic seems to be a good price, and stainless to boot:

only 256£ for both, i guess the transport to No-way will be another 100.

Any thoughts on these for- or against? Any other recommendations at similar price? or anyone selling a used complete system?

I have just got a link pipe from them to by-pass the starship to a 2-1 can. They were half the price of Sandybikespares and the quality o fthe link and parts I got was excellent. The guys on the phone (Ian I believe) were very helpful and the parts arrived from UK to Dublin in 2 days. The steel looks good quality to me and the chrome similar. No complaints.

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Well, we have found the fit to be 'changeable' and they are made in China. Delkevic is a part of DK Motorcycles and the name is made up from the owners names - Derek (Del) and son Kevin (Kev). A humorous piss take on Akrapovic - take my hat off to you guys.

I put a set of their headers on my Mk1. Fit was good but I had to use some oversize nuts as spacers as the flange sat closer to the head than the standard ones. I believe someone (Dannyboy?) had the opposite problem on an earlier batch. Steel seems to be a decent quality, they survived my cleaning regime.

Just fitted a delkevic silencer & link pipe, sounds good and although the quality isn't top notch it's good value for the money.

I've also got delkevic downpipes that were on the bike when I bought them. The fit wasn't great and some persuasion on my part was necessary to get them secured to the engine. The collars are also prone to bending. However, the design may have been improved since these were made.
The problem with downpipes is there aren't many choices out there to buy for the 8fiddly. All I could find were Delkevic, Motad, and Kedo, apart from the Yamaha originals. Kedo were out of stock though.

I've got Delkevic doonpips on my bike and although I can't comment on the fit, 'cos I didn't fit 'em, I'm happy enough. Clearly not the best finish and they don't look particularly good anymore after a few nasty winters, but I'll probably replace with the same as and when they do die.

I fitted their downpipes with no problem. They look a lot better than the OEM version! The stainless spacers they provided for the flanges were too long so I made up some with drilled out stainless M6 nuts until I could get the Delkevic ones turned down to size.

The ones I had for my old mk2a were a good fit but the collars were too thick, just drilled them out slightly and jobs done.

Very fast response from the guys at Delkevic. 200 for the complete exhaust system (single oval can), and only 50 for the transport to Norway.
This is without VAT as it's export. I guess i have to pay the Norwegianese VAT when it arrives.

I'll be ordering this today i think.

Hey Galilee

Er du Norsk? så kan jeg jo skrive på dansk, men for de andres skyld så tager vi den på engelsk.

I fitted the 350 mm oval silencer in april on the original downpipes. Fitted perfectly and was all done and ready to ride in just a few minuttes.
They're made from 304 stainless wich is also used i dairy machinery - good material quality.
It has started to turn a bit yellow'ish due to high rev/velocity riding,(and black from the missus boot) but nothing serious.
Shipping was £25 to my door step in northwest Jutland, Denmark.
The name of a very helpfull Delkevic employee is Ron.

The sound is deep and crispy. Just did a trackday-thing in june and the sound of of the Monster Duke that was there drowned away in the ROOOAER from my 3VD - very satisfactory.
Still - I was allowed in to the track(Knutstorp i south Sweden) so i is streetlegal. They are very strickt in regards to noise level on trackdays.

I ordered a complete system in stainless steel with a stubby can. Very fast response from their customer service, and delivery was only 4 days after ordering. Very good for a shipment from UK no No-way.

The fit and finish was good i think. I have nothing to compare with. But the spacers for the header was too long. i use some oversized nuts temporarily until i can cut or grind down the supplied ones. And the delivery was with all necessary brackets and gaskets.

Nice sound, with and without 'db killer' although a bit loud without.

Very happy with the final result.

Youtubbery

Highly recommended, and now us carpedians even get a 10% discount as long as you mention the site when ordering.
