Was thunkin more of damage to the internal surface than the wod.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Hold on, I'm panicking now - with the tube all the way down you can't damage the inside of the stanchion where the bush rides, nor obviously the outside of the tube, the only thing I can think of that you could damage is the rod help.gif

Tried what, the tool or the bike? I made the tool because I tried with the cordless drill and impact wrench and they just span. The forks are both in bits with the stanchions waiting for my mate to paint them 'cos they're pitted as hell (and waiting... it's not his fault he's busy and I know he'll do a much better job than me but... sad.gif )
