Frits have a look on Spanish E-bay for the Ixil item as they were supposed to be doing another production run last September :good:

Jono49, Thanks for the answer.

This is what I am going to do with the exhaust,

I will use the stock downpipes cut it in pieces turn it and welt it together in a 2 into 1 system using a Y piece

Why because I can do it myself and its also a sport of mine to use the stock parts and change it or make it

better. I also like the sound off a 2 into 1  system it is deeper and nicer to hear.

If you hit the throttle you can hear more pressure from the 2  into 1 exhaust.

But thats the way I am thinking.

I also will use a shorter and smaller muffler.

I know that 2 into 1 exhaust systems are better for a 2 cylinder engine.

Back pressure, means better filing, more pressure on the cylinders, more torque and much smoother when you ride the bike.

Back pressure is very important on a two cylinder engine.

Almost all  new two cylinder engines have 2 into 1 exhaust systems.

A the moment a have no time for this, so it has the wait for a wile

Again thanks,

Greetings,Frits from holland

...and the old 850's.....   :)

EDIT: A 2-1-2 system, actually

So does that mean that the Nexus 2 into 2 fitted to my mk1 is a performance downgrade ?

It is a pity that the down pipes of the 850 does not fit the TDM 900

It would be nice 2 in 1 exhaust pipes

I need to correct that, it's a Nexus 2 into 1 into 2 again....so it still brings both downpipes together into 1 before splitting again
