What do you think? Made to fit the R1200GS they are a little more substantial than the BMW ones. They also have an adjustable wind deflector. Can't wait to fit them!

Where did you order them from and how much were they?

Don't forget to keep us posted with the photos once you get them fitted.

They are made by Barkbusters, distributed in the UK by CI Sport. If you call up and speak to the sales bod, Paul, he'll direct you to your most local shop.

They are a bit more than the BMW ones (around £40 - £50) but I think they are more substantial and adaptable (you can also buy spare plastics for them), so I'm not too fussed at paying £58.80 for them. I have gone for the silver ones.

I'll let you know when they are fitted and may do a guide.

Looky Here

T'was a couple of years ago, got 'em from the off-road dealer that sold me the bike, but I don't think they were too expensive.

Well, Oi Loikes 'em! cool.gif

Just fitted them - under 10 minutes! They are much better fit wise than the BMW ones and IMHO don't look as cheap and nasty. The fit is good - the adjustable wind deflectors are good too. I will post piccys asap. The only issue was they could only get them in white. However, I will probably paint them anyway.

Look good. How do they mount? (I see a "mounting kit" is required).

I shall take piccychures later on. The out part attaches with a bar end weight type affair - A screw goes through the handguard and into an expanding contraption that grips the bars (bear in mind I have Renthals!) I don't see why the original TDM bar end weights wouldn't be able to secure them. The hole may need reaming slightly - that's all. I'll check that too. Inboard there is a clamp that goes round the bar with a threaded tube pointing forward - the guard screws to this. A picture of the kit is here.
