After what seems an eternity I am now experiencing something they call 'RELIABILITY' rolleyes.gif

For the past couple o months I've enjoyed a bike that starts and runs GREAT ! with absolutely no problems AT ALL !

No blips or farts or cutouts or backfires or flat battery or owt !

So now I'm bored (joke!) and so at 1pm to 2pm I'm off to ADC Dyno in Chesterfield for a power run. ( £25 )

I've got standard jets, LEANER tubes, Laser Pro exhaust and standard air filter. My economy is up by huge amounts from the original, and I'm waiting to see what my mileage is from a full tank, it's on 115 miles at the mo and there's still plenty o gas in the tank.

I'm aiming primarily at economy so I can afford to get over the channel this year for a week or 2.

So, place yer bets y'all laugh.gif Winner gets the accolade of being a clever T**T rotflmmfao.gif

JHT got just a tad under 68bhp with bigger mains and a K&N BUT was running rich as fook.

I haven't a clue what BHP is respectable, if anyone does please let me know.

More info that may help, the compression is on the high side, just over the recommended max at 168/163psi but each cylinder is within range differing by 5psi.

I'd like to see over 60bhp !

I'll make sure they're using the proper Horses n all that. I might get 100 Welsh pit ponies, or 35 Shires if you get me drift laugh.gif

Thing is, I don't want to run the engine too lean or lose a lot of power.

Yamaha have a new dealers in Sheffield and they do poweruns...£39 ! ouch !

Yamaha also have a new Dyno machine at their dealers in Chesterfield and do runs for £25...but they robbed me when I paid them £160 for 5w fork oil and a petrol leak !
