How did you adjust the two lights? I mean, the two lightbeams must be at the same level, but this is hard to see when the lightunit is not fitted on the bike right?
Or can you adjust them seperately after closing the unit?

Adjusting the light is exactly the same way as the OEM lights. the 2 projectors fit on the reflectors.

Wow, I already opened the unit the way you did, by heating it in the oven. This was much easier than I expected.
Still waiting for the HID kit I ordered.
Thank you so far!

you're welcome...
remove the caps from the reflectors to be ready for the installation
also remove any old glue-sealant left on the headlight

i hate to hijack this thread but i have a question..
ive been thinking on buying HID conversion kits for my 4tx, Thrakiotis seems to think that maybe the hid H7 bulbs wont fit...
is this true?

does anyone have a solution

not true...
I just said that H7 projectors won't fit due to the small area between the reflector and the lens...
Simple H7 HID kit would work fine

One hour later they answered me that the kit I ordered is not available at the moment, so they canceled the transaction, but they are still advertising on E bay?
Did I do something wrong or what?

Only 2 more questions; what sealant did you use to seal the headlight? There is no sealant/ glue in the kit.
And second, is the slim ballast really necesary, or can I use the big original ones too? And if not, where did you get the slim ballast from?

there should be 2 sealant packs in the box...
check the items descrition..and ask the seller to send you
using slim ballast you lose less space, and you can fit them behind the clocks...
if you use the standard ballast you must fit them in the right hand side panel (away from the abs unit-in case you own abs model)

I've sent a mail to the seller, no problem I hope

But it doesn't seem too difficult so far, only thing not obvious to me is the power-on test, how did you do this??
