Eye I am with a nice Cake

Did think about selling her a few weeks ago but changed my mind. She don't llok too bad for 11 year old Bike with 40k on the clock and no garage to store her in. She sits outside all the time and she never complains

nothing major with either -
most startling stat I thought was 29500 miles from 900's front pads
still nothing to beat a TDM so far

I should have asked what, if anything, has gone wrong.
I was getting worried that I was putting to many miles on,
but after this,
I can expect well into the 50,000 without too much going wrong by the sounds of it.
Cheers, Ivan
PS.... Yellowasp, it would be criminal to get rid of such a good looking bike...

Bought Dec 2006 with 72,000 miles, plus blown motor, restored over last 10 months, and original motor just about to go back in, but have covered another 5500 on the borrowed TRX motor since May 2007.
currently owned ....
1996 YAMAHA TRX850 gone away for little holiday with Andrea
1997 YAMAHA TDM850 which are obviously an acquired taste. I fink I'm starting to get it now.....
1998 DUCATI 748 ... one way of keeping an old man broke.
1999 YAMAHA Thunderace there is STILL no finer motorcycle
2008 SUZUKI Bandit 1250SA ...... fecked by yours truly, but ......... still fitted with the worlds most uncomfortable bike seat. ouch!
