OK this it turning into a nightmare! finally got the tyre done at 1330 hrs today , and found the brake pads were almost down to the metal.

Got new pads and replaced them but they are now binding against the discs.
A quick run round the block and you could almost use the discs as a night light they where that hot.
Looks like I'm out
Sorry Trev, I'll do better next year!
Be safe guys and have a good time.
Mick

Good to meet you today Gdog. It was indeed a good day out despite a lowish turnout. If you want to organise a rideout over your way, I'm sure people will attend. We're easy to please - just add cakes to the biking and we're away
I'll stick some pics up later when I get time.

Ay Daz, my old Dad used to say "experience son, you can't buy it" !! We old dogs have been around the block a few times, speed comes with age. On the plus side for you tho was your ability to hold your bladder contents longer than us !
Went for a tiddle when I got home and it came out of my belly button
