Snorvey, I reckon we'll have to go with Dandy on this as the A96 is a bit police-infested at weekends. So you'll have to stand the missus down mate - but thanks for the offer anyway. Let me know when you get your bike back on the road and we'll organise a day out for those of us in the Highlands and Moray.

A great weekend , great weather (until this morning) , great roads & great company.

It was good to meet the Irish & English contingents in Glasgow on Friday for a run up the A82. Pity about the slow going on the loch side , at least it got better after Crianlarich.

Friday night in the Italian was a hoot at our table , I think Paddy must be Frank Carsons love child....It's the way he tells em !

Fat Chap (Colin ) gets the award for the loudest snorer ! RSRocket (Rob )thought it was me and lobbed his towel at me......at least on Saturday night we knew what to expect and the ear plugs went in !

Saturday morning was bright and sunny and the run around Grampian was excellent. Thanks to Nanook (Joe) and his mate
TRX Pete for their local knowlege.

A nice meal on Saturday evening was sandwiched between a couple of hours flange watching outside the bar of the Cairngorme hotel...very pleasant.

Sunday morning was notable for the rain , my dodgy arse & the smoke in the kitchen which , lets be honest , isn't suitable for purpose ! The only real critisism about the bunkhouse.

It was funny when I took the bunkhouse towel out to dry the rain off my saddle...the guy who runs the place followed me out " Is that one of my towels ? " " Yes " " But you're cleaning your dirty bike with it " " No , I'm drying off clean rainwater with it ..... and last night I dried off my arse and baws with it ... so what ? " rotflmmfao.gif

The run back down was eventful , my light were fecked and it wasn't nice on the A9 , in rain with no lights. By the time we got to just north of Pitlochry the sun came out and Dandy (Alan) took me , TDMTam , TeDium (Chris) & Paddy around some very interesting country road entertaining us with history lessons on the way. I saw bits of Scotland I didn't know existed.

And I got my front wheel up in the air a couple of times following Alan along some yummpy single tracks...yeehaa !

Anyway....enough rambling on

Thanks to everyone for making it a fantastic G2G.

The pictures will be up soon...PhotoBucket is going very slowwwwww
