the roads and scenery are fan dabby dozy , pictures and video on here just can't do it justice.
and i have "some" tracks i can convert into routes , then you will do the roads we did

highlights for me , andermatt figure of 8 loop over some awesome passes. col d iseran ,col de isoard, col de bonnette. stelvio, livingno the road stelvio to davos (it's as good as top gear say) too many more to list but the road from lake como ot livigno (the route we took) was super fantastic.
anyway enjoy (and if i get my projected job restructure ) i may be there next year

Agree with Mark on the roads. We had to spend a bit of time on mainish roads as we had a lot of passes we wanted to cover, but the random roads you find just by looking for twisty stuff on the map in the vague direction you want to go have been the highlights for me on both Alps trips I've done now, and in Italy both times. I'd definitely go back to the area around Briancon too, we only did about half these routes

(and if i get my projected job restructure ) i may be there next year

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Looking at one of these expedition tents, which you can get the bike in as well, in case the spanners need to come out:If you're looking at new tents Lee consider one with a decent sized porch on it, so you can get plenty of kit in with you if it's wet. Also think about how easy it is to take down and put up in the rain. I wasn't too sure about my Khyam biker having a separate groundsheet at first, but when it's wet it means I can take down the inner and pack it away dry while the outer and groundsheet are still wet.

Me dad always used to say, never skimp on the tent.
I've looked at the Khyam, but it's a bit low for me being over 6ft.
Also the Coleman Phad X3 has been on the list. Cooking will be on petrol since I'm carrying a great big tank of it anyway.
I've married up a trangia and an Optimus nova with a funny adapter bowl thingy, it turned out to be very effective.

fook me 399 euro's .... erm you could spend them better IMHO how tall do you think chris G is ?? there are other tents you can get a bike in (if you so wish, but personally i dont see the need)
anyway its your money but for that price you could hotel it for 8 to 10 nights and not need the tent

Finally starting sorting out some of my videos.
