Took it out of the garage, looked at the bent disc, thought about starting on it ……….
Then looked at the big Faz sat there …………So struck it up & went out for a 90 mile blast on it
Then came home & put both of them back in the garage

passed the IAM, and then had front brake pads changed... busy day, and the old girl looked after me well.
(Actually, the IAM part is bitter-sweet, as I know that I could have done better in some areas. C'est la vie).
Yeah, I've done the IAM. And yeah, I recommend it (any so-called 'advanced training' come to that; not just IAM): A low cost training course based on the system used by the police, which is largely common sense once pointed out, making one smoother, quicker and safer. What's not to like? And why would one not want to tell others?

Gave mine a service
Nice new Yam filter and some Castrol Power 1 10-40, OTT maybe but she's worth it
Also I am a clean freak (OCD) so gave a it a test coat of Supernatural sealant on top of its wax, why? well why not...
Now for a ride

Went riding around on it from 11am to 4pm looking at swags. Ended up buying a Burke and Wills Biker swag. Tied it on, brought it home. All set for the trip in three weeks.

Took the A5086 to the sign for Lamplugh, Loweswater an' Buttermere and on over the Honister Pass up to Keswick, then back home in time for tea & cake : )
