Went to get her TÜV inspected (German equivalent of MOT), passed with flying colours and gave her a good cleaning afterwards. Today is her anniversary, registration date was 06 September 1996 ;)

Then looked at the big Faz sat there …………So struck it up & went out for a 90 mile blast on it    :badgerrock:

passed the IAM, and then had front brake pads changed... busy day, and the old girl looked after me well. :good:

(Actually, the IAM part is bitter-sweet, as I know that I could have done better in some areas. C'est la vie).

:)

Yeah, I've done the IAM. And yeah, I recommend it (any so-called 'advanced training' come to that; not just IAM): A low cost training course based on the system used by the police, which is largely common sense once pointed out, making one smoother, quicker and safer. What's not to like? And why would one not want to tell others?  :hide:

Went riding around on it from 11am to 4pm looking at swags.  Ended up buying a Burke and Wills Biker swag.  Tied it on, brought it home.  All set for the trip in three weeks.

Yesterday I took out the old air filter which seemed to be some cheap oiled thing which has been in it since u bought it a few months ago. I swapped it out for a genuine one for now and am hoping it'll breathe better.
I also managed to get the time to paint my pannier racks with some hammerite yesterday too. They'll be dry enough to fit later today as its quite warm.
