I know that some people would be desperate to repaint it.....but it's on the inside where the good stuff happens ;)

Do you not say it any more ? ;)

Better to have one that works well, than one that just looks the part but cannot perform ;)

Put some extra security on mine this afternoon.

A neighbor up the road found his Versys on it's side in his front garden this morning thanks to some thieving bastards.

Since christmas I've stripped the back end and greased the swingarm beaarings, re-sprayed the shock, re-sprayed the swingarm and gave it a right good cleaning all over.

I also fitted heated grips and a scottoiler and some spotlights like mentioned on a recent thread, she's looking good now so next day im home early I'll get a few pics taken and fire em up here  :good:

I changed the pilot jets to 142.5s and replaced the idle air screws with the extended ones from Factory Pro.  I must have got the mixture pretty good because it rode like a champ today.  Of course it was about 0C today, so hopefully it isn't too rich when things warm up in a couple months.

I also attempted to re-install the speedometer needle.  After a previous repair, it was running about 10mph too fast.  Now it is closer to 15mph too fast.  I guess I will be toying with that again.

Weather change, south wind & temperature around 12°C killed the snow, time to take the bike for a ride. :)

She was sleeping inside the garage since two months but the engine fired at the first button push.

Good girl ! :good:

Now she needs a full front & rear suspension service / tyre change... :unsure2:
