Hi Pict, I should have replied to you earlier over this, sorry !

I'm upto leading the route from Skipton to the bunkhouse on Friday afternoon if you want to join me.
Is there anyone else out there want who wants to take the "Dales" route up.
I was thinking about meeting up in Skipton about lunch time, but I don't want to be too prescriptive.

Just let me know.

The main bullit points of the route are

* Skipton
* Settle
* Hawes
* Appleby in West'
* Hartside
* Alston
* Hexham-ish
* Bellingham

Mileage - about 150 clicks from our house, so I guess about 110 from Skipton

Dave,
Got a pass out from her who must be ebay'd. If its ok with you I will meet up with yer good selves at the little chef. Bit confusing though as I have no idea of the area and on the map the A65 and A59 cross both sides of Skipton blink.gif I shall be going up the M6 from J15 getting off at J31, couple of hours should do it.

If you're coming off at J31, I assume you will be travelling towards Skipton on the A59 via Clitheroe. This road meets the A65 at the Little Chef roundabout north west of Skipton centre.

Perfick

I'll PM you with my mobile number in case you it any problems

I presume by spelling it incorrectly that you don't want me to find you lot and tag along sad.gif . I can take a hint.

Checked bike over and I'm not sure I want to travel that far with it running lean and I don't know how to set the carbs up on an fz so I'll give it a miss.
Ride safe and ENJOY smile.gif

How dare you!! Don't ever call me a 900 rider
ranting.gif

lol.

Seriously though, It really is a bit far for a bike that needs tweeking.
Besides, I don't think I could make it that far myself. I can't cope with the sportsbike riding position anymore, got too used to the TDM. The fz's a great tool for short rides but I wouldn't be able to walk for days if I did several hundred sad.gif .
Could do with a good chill out atm with being off sick though. Considering a bimble over to Rivington Barn this weekend now.

Cheers,
Paul.
