feckin project plans for numpty gov'mint clients

why didnt you choose the later return ferry from Cherbourg that goes to portsmouth with the rest of us?

I meant what strange plan is Catsbum cooking up

As for ferry bookings I didn't see a post on what you'd booked. I booked Pool-Cherbourg on the way out as the Portsmouth sailing was a silly time, didn't think about comming back via a different route. Think I can change it for free online, is that the 20:30 Cherbourg - Poole on 12th? Who else is on it then; you Kris & Martin?

I'm on the 9:00 Poole to Cherbourg on Friday 3rd July,
Anyone on the same ferries?

What time does that arrive? Myself and the lovely Mrs TeDeum will be meeting up with my mate Bob at Cherbourg around 4pm and riding down as far as Laval that evening (via Mont St Michel for sightseeing) then on to Dordogne the next day. We have booked a B+B in Laval where we will meet up with Poldark who is on a later ferry into Cherbourg. Suit you?

Arrive at 2:45, could be a cunning plan to meet up either at Cherbourg or Mont Saint Michelle. Should be able to find a campsite somewhere in Loire valley easily enough.

Hi Petewould be great is you could make it. If I remember correctly there's Dave (A/C), his mate, Dannyboy and myself all on the same ferry. We could easily meet up at one of the M6 service stations and travel down to Plymouth together is that's what everyone wants. I think we had different ideas on the routes through Spain and France though, to get to the campsite.BD
I'm on this crossing aswell, will touch base nearer time with all concerned to pm mobile no's etc and arrange a meet somewhere in the west country on the road to Plymouth. Only 2 months to go! good.gif

I'm also booked on the 20.30 return on 12th from Cherbourg, sounds like there'll be a fair old crowd and a nice ride up from the campsite, I've no plans yet for the Sat night stop but I'm not a camper!

As TeDeum says going out I'm on the later Port - Cher (Seacat) on Fri 3rd, which doesn't get in till 19.45, so will go straight to the Hotel in Laval to link up with Mr & Mrs TeDeum & Bob, who will have sauntered down via Mont St M earlier in the day.

We'll then have about 300 cross-country miles to do to get to the campsite on Sat - provisional route here RTT09 via MSM

Not too long to wait now good.gif
'03 silver TDM 900 with V-Strom handguards, GS1150 bar risers, givi box, baglux tank cover, PC III USB with K&N air filter, S/S rad guard, crash bungs, Tigerscreen, iridium plugs, braided front hoses, OEM centre stand, 15W fork oil & 10mm yoke drop, tutoro oiler & sheepskin seat cover! Gone but not forgotten!

A link for anyone looking for a camping stopover. The Municipal ones are generally cheaper as they are not privately owned.
