Did the fork oil yesterday and I'll do the air filter today , it has a K&N fitted at the moment, I reckon a STD yamaha one is better, not sure about K&N stuff so i'll go back to paper. and maybe oil and filter if i get time this afternoon..

at last !! Chain and sprockets the long way round. That's an endless chain so the job included, all rear suspension and linkage check, clean and grease. Swing arm pivot and rear wheel bearings given the same treatment. Everything was cushdy, not a sign of wear, play or corrosion on any important part, so it's all still just as it left the factory! Did find one bolt on the speedo sensor cover and a rear spocket nut stripped the thread on the way off, and I'm sure neither had been off before.....I've had the bike since new.....strange....
Talking of as it left the factory.....realised I'm still on original front brake pads at 30,011 miles!!.....who needs brakes anyway......
04 900 - 92 mk 1 - r 1150 rs - Z550 A1 - 2x bonnies - plastic slug -XL185 - ...not in that order !! (and one or two i don't want / dare to own up to !!)

Stripped and powdercoated one luggage sideplate. Finish is poor but adhesion is splendiferous. Then did the other side, with better results after taming the fan oven !

I've hammerited the back sides....my oven wasn't big enough to hang these end on and therefore powder both sides at once...so i cheated, what the heck !
The problem I find with Hammerite is if there is even a little bit of corrosion underneath, if you don't prep the metal it with an acid rust convertor or inhibitor, it always bubbles and lifts, after a period of time
