Well was hoping to be a last minute addition to tomorrows do, and my first distance 'ride' since accident last September

so finally having got the interim 'replacement' MkII running & MOT'd etc I went fer a spin to Foxes diner today

motor is fucked mad.gif

I broke some of my major caveats in buying it 'cause I was getting desperate istupid.gif punishment.gif cuckoo.gif
(commuting by train to London is not fun and ferkin' ££££££££'s)

so this evening has been spent swapping motors, and I've just lost light sad.gif

if it goes well in the am I may thrash up

Done: Homo sap navigation/ twisty thing on bars to make it go vroom/ grabby thing to make it stop (in front of twisty thing)/ 'leccy things front and rear to make it glow at night/ Sucky + drippy oiler thing to keep chains moist (!!) / Laser Pro Stock Race pipes / bleeding ear drums (see previous mod)
To do: Educate homo sap nav system to operate twisty + grabby things/ get ear plugs

All Trashed Now... Pants... its a Cat B Mwahahaha it lives again!!

Remember every driver is a deaf myoptic twat who is out to kill you, ALWAYS assume they are going to do THE most f*cking DUMBASS, STUPID manouver possible, at the worst possible moment; get past, and get past quick

Well here are the photos I took at the start - there would have been more if I hadn't got split off and missed the rideout!

Good to meet old and new faces, if too briefly - anybody got any other pics to add the missing mates?

Just got home and beginning to thaw out; just wanted to say I had a brilliant day for my Carpe baptism. When's the next one...?

Ride home was intermittently hailing, but with the added bonus of riding under rainbows... aaah. Maybe that's the title for my Autobiography. Daniel Carway, Riding Under Rainbows. His rather dull story. In all good bargain bins, price 99p.

Thanks to everyone who made it possible (the ride, that is, not my imaginary book), getting everyone together, planning routes etc etc. It was all great, despite the mild embarrassment of having to explain my forum name blush.gif. Some information about Caerbannog

Daniel

1996 TDM850 in Yellow, Motad Nexxus, MK1 bashplate, Acerbis handguards, K&N, Xenons, Aux lamps, Bluespot calipers, Renthal 755 bars, DIY panniers, JBX-inspired gear indicator.  (Currently not on the road.)

Bikes wot I have had and dun't have any more: 1983 Honda CB125TDC, 1976 Kawasaki S1C (early KH250 stroker triple), 1986 Honda VF500F2, 1992 Kawasaki KLE500.
