i dont know about you , but i am fed -up of the bmw "lot" taking over this web site ....i am sure they dont go on and on, on the bmw club web site about TDM,s and keep plugging there photo,s every chance they get [ or they would soon be in trouble ] ....i have other makes of bikes and if i want to talk about them i would go to there own web site. i wouldnt dream of bragging off how great they are on another biker,s web site ...its like they have to go out and spread " the word " to get as many as possible into " the fold " or is it that there pockets are empty due to rip- off service charges and cannot afford to join the bmw club ...

I've lost track. Is there where I should start posting BMW stories and pics, or is there a separate thread for that? Cause, I got em!
I think I'm vaccinated anyway, cause I'm still riding my 1992 original, single-owner TDM MK1, and I love it.

I recently led an RTT on an FJR. Does that make it ok cos it was a Yamaha.
Take no notice, Matt. I'll happily be your tailend charlie whatever you're riding. Oh, shit, my TDM is f*cked. Can I still come if I don't get another TDM?

So you just kept it?
whenever I mention it, he just says look after it for him. Since we have been friends for 30 years+, I just oil it, polish it and keep it charged up. It was built in 1988 and is in perfect fettle, though no longer a 50cc more like 81cc and geared up to match.
He is getting on a bit, when the time comes, it will pass to his daughter.

Wow this topic has touched a nerve with folks, it's like trying to discuss football with a man u fan ! oops sorry guys. I haven't noticed a wave of 'other' bike topics myself but it has to be said there is a forum for almost every bike/car out there so to me it makes sense to discuss them on their own sites as you are likely to get a broader response due to a larger audience.
