Got the seats cut and all is good. 
No leaks or wobbly bleed screws.
Also fitted my new ignition switch, works fine but the cable is a good bit shorter than oem so had to re-route it.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Think you were unlucky with them nips, what i hate is trying to find a nip the right length, they all seem too long, also on the subject of the back brake, it wont be long before we have to address the slightly oblong hole for the pins, enlarge and stick a bush in..

OEM nips are nearly a tenner a piece. Odd but I actually fitted 2 new nips to the bluespots with no problems at all. Now thinking I might have damaged the seat on the rear calipot when I was fitting the helicoil. The nip face was scored slightly so prolly got a smidge of swarf squashed in there, despite using my modded hover and an airline.
Yeah, not a lot of material around the pin holes to play with eh.

Cliff, so I got the job ? If we try hard we can make a hard brass insert so the holes never elongate, press fit it and retain with 638. Caliper will need careful milling.

Hiya Lee, well who else could we trust it to..... prolly be a job for winter though, mine are not so bad currently but will wear, got enough going on for now though, but a brass insert sounds good and a good fix...
