Should be more details here http://dashack.co.uk...pic,4504.0.html

Saturday won't be too early a start as it'll start in the cafe in the middle of Rhayader for a big fat boy breakfast. Believe plan is head home on the Sunday but suspect a few of us will be a taking a long route.

I might do this one. Just decided that my planned weekend in Scotland is going to be rather expensive fuelwise for effectively one rideout and one evening in the bar! Besides it will give you lot something to complain about; slow old fart on a 1150GS who snores loudly, so I'm told! blush.gif

P.S. As I do not work I will probably go up earlier in the day so could meet up with anyone for a poodle/blast, fryup, cake, sanatogen etc.

Spongey, I'm thinking a lunchtime burger at 12:30-1:00ish at the burger bar at Abergavenny Bus station and then spend a couple of hours bimbling though the brecon beacons if you're interested.

I've been allowing ale, ride-outs, women and BSB/GP/WSB to get in the way of a route for this run.... no excuse! I'm looking at Google Earth at this very minute and am writing down the route - half of which I've not yet ridden - but it includes more B-roads than last year so I think it'll suit the relaxed nature of the ride better and the number of TDM's that'll be there!

Looking forward to seeing/meeting you all Friday/Saturday good.gif

Looking at the route... I'd say so! It's about more time in Snowdonia this year riding through and around the mountains. Haven't worked out the mileage yet (gonna go home now and have a pint and sit down and write out the route with the map - bah humbug to your satnavs!). Looks like a lot of quieter/local roads to get more of a sense of the terrain. Couple of nice stops by reservoirs and lunch in Canaerfon (if anyone knows anywhere? Otherwise I'm reckoning on the Supermarket by the sea and use it as a fuel stop too).

.... route done, I'll post it up over the weekend for the satnav crew..
