Back from Brittany in 2013.
I am well back from Britanny meeting.
In the morning I went out from the Motorterrain at 5:35 PM
Arrived at my garage at 5:25 AM.
Between 1200 km, 3 fuel stop, breakfast and lunch.
It was a nice get-together with many nice motorcyclists.
Thanks to all who organized and helped the meeting.
Thanks also to Lesley and Ken.
All those who are still on the road, I wish a safe journey home.

Brilliant Tour. DaveM had a Puncture, Danny Dropped my Whitey, then his helmet
Apart from that Perfect. Thank you to everyone involved. Good friends all round
For me
What went right:
Explorer 1200. The perfect bike for touring and throwing about
What went wrong
Interphone F5
So much trouble pairing 5 riders, would do 3 or 2, maybe 5. Changed every day
Bloody annoying
Errr, nope, nothing else
Thank again

No I don't mean the actual moment with him lying underneath it, I'm not that much of an 'A' hole. I meant the damage and pee taking afterwards as there was nowt on fb!

This really is one of the best tours. I think even Limbo had a good time!
Yes for sure!
I had a lovely arrival with visits to the monuments of the D-Day.
Have a nice day tour with you in the sunshine.
One day little tour with you in the rain.
Three cozy evenings eating and chatting with you.
A long day with a long run home.
The ride back home was nice, but it was very cold.
I switched on thick gloves and put on a sweater at the first fuel stop by Caen.
The whole tour the bike and the GPS navigation system ran very well.
Thanks again to my Pony Express rider.

Excellent Trip,
Thanks to Cats for setting this up and particular thanks to all who helped with my puncture and to Ken, our host, who ran me up to the local bike shop for a new tyre.
Had a good run up to Cherwell Valley with BD, Manx900 and Dannyboy when we all split to make our own way northwards. Got a bit messy after that with horrible weather and roadworks around Brum but home safe and sound (tired and cold) by 11.30pm.
Cheers
Dave

Arrived home safely about 11.10pm after uneventful trip up M1.
A great time was had, it had all the ingredients required...... biking, great locations, good weather, beer, wine (red and white), great hosts, cake and a large portion of piss taking. Whats not to like ?
ps no problems with the F5s of myself and Dannyboy
BD
MOTO GUZZI T3 with Le Mans engine, frisky for an old girl
YAMAHA Tracer 700
RE Himalayan
Down to 3 toys at the moment, need to go shopping I think
I DON'T DO EXERCISE - if God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put cake on the floor

Got back safe and sound despite Birmingham weather and road works ("What's he saying"). Had a great trip despite trying to ride whitey with a disk lock still fitted on a gravel car park BD, Cats and Manx900 saved my bacon and refrained from any serious rib tickling. (fookin rookie mistake) No damage apart from pride. Only complaint was Chrisr and his constant snoring. For goodness sake if I can control myself why can't he?
. Cats was a star and really looked after us at Chateau Carrol . Great to see Chris G at the Chinese restaurant. It only took me 3 days to digest and return that meal. Frank now needs counselling (blokes a liability, cant take him any where with out inappropriate remarks). Need a serious detox after all those free drinks at Mototaranis. Hosts were complete stars. Loved this trip in a big way.
F5s Rocks.
