Looking absolutely mint Cliff, I noticed you have the clip and tether for a Helite airbag vest now.
Now is the time to enjoy it.

Had it's MOT today.

Tester commented that the chain was a bit loose, told him spec is 50-60mm, he seemed happy, but put it down as an advisory.

Checked it when I got back, 55mm, so pretty much bang in the middle, gave it a little tweak to take it to 50mm.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.

Done nowt at all to my TDM today, but it's stable has had a makeover this weekend, from a dingy dark rented housing association garage to white painted walls and a light grey painted floor, looks much brighter so may even be able to see what I'm doing in there now, just mustn't tell the housing assoc.... In all fairness I think they would be more upset about the back door I cut in the wall nearly 10 years ago and the second floor level (steep roof so lots of storage space) I put in, not to mention the sockets and lights either. Oops....

Needs must eh  fook em, even if they took it back they would just rip it all out, it's what our housing association do...

Cleaned the bike yesterday, pumped up the tyres and then sprained my left elbow reversing it back under cover   Couldn't even pull the clutch lever in today so no ride for moi.  Got some cocodamol but they did nothing to ease the pain.

Flushed with success of the ride yesterday and adjustments all done, I was all set to go out again and it's snowing dammit.
So it's workshop time for me. Fun is over.

Aspirin/Ibuprofen for the inflammation and ice on the elbow but not for long.
I have a small muscle in my back that I mess up every now and then, works for me.

Hope it's better soon.

Enforced workshop time wasn't wasted, made myself a pair of flat ended bar ends to suit the BMW handguards from off cuts of 35mm 303 bar I had left over from a job.
For info the taper setting is 5 degrees btw, for anyone making these.
