Yes, let me know. I'm afraid to ask, but how is the exchange rate doing at the mo? You have the best toy.
I bet that it arrives on time too.

I got the TDM back today with fresh fluid and seals in the front forks and the front and rear setup beautifully. All done by Hoey racing in Pooraka. Those folks are fantastic! very impressed.

Today I have been doing this ready for a refurb in the way of shotblast & paint.
I will be re-painting the shocker and coating the spring too.
Single-handedly reviving the Wave.

Picked up a new tyre for the front yesterday as the old one was scalloped on the right hand side (bloody road camber and cross country cross winds!).
Apparently the PR4's aren't available in the front size in Australia at the moment so I had to settle with a PR3.
Damn this bike rides better now though!

Givi side and topbox racks fitted.
Airbox mod done
The engine is lovely at filtering speeds now, still a tiny bit lumpy between 1500 and 3500, but it's not really noticeable when riding.

I tried some vynl wrap around the rear plastics to give the paint a bit of protection.
What a pain in the that is.
It didn't go well
Actually looks a lot better in the photo than real life, but it will protect the plastics, whatever it looks like.
And a cheeky bimble around just to check everything worked

Quite pleased as they appear to be lovely and clean, but then they get serviced pretty regularly.

I'm in the same boat. The things I could do in a nice warm garage I spose me calipers and pistons will need a clean up after winter to get the grunge out.

Re the vinyl wrap..
I tried and failed to get a good finish on the panels with 1 piece of vinyl. I ended up cutting smaller ovals which I stuck over the areas that rub and get stone damage from the rear wheel. No wrinkling or bubbling, looks fine and works as intended.

Pr4 fronts aren't available in the UK either but to be honest I wasn't happy with the way the rear worked with a pr3 front so I'm going with a pair of threes when I changed.
What? Just got my new front, it's been available for a year. Weight is 4470 gram.

Thanks, will look into the tire thread.
I am very happy with PR4's so far. Have done 3000 km on the rear PR4 (std, not GT) so far and it drives and grips very good. Before that I had Metzeler Z8 but the rear was toast after 8500 km, front still holding up at 11500 km but will replace latest at 15000 km with the PR4 GT front I just got.
My wife is also very happy with her PR4's on her MT07A, replacing the stock BT023's that didn't grip so well in the wet.
