Here you go Sir, thanks for the lead on this!  Great kit, have an R1 in this week end, older 1999 but I am excited to try it out! Then the TDM :)

Oh and went out with my mate on the TDM, had a slice of Toffee cake and a milk coffee at Loomies, also went to Lidi, new thermals and some shades for when the sun comes out!

Nice bit of fettle bling there :)

Oooooooooooo..........

I shall be off to Lidl for some thermals tomorrow.

I like my toys but can't justify £215 or so for my own balancing needs. So super jelly.

I can see that you will be making good use of it too.

Well your project seems perfect, and/or as you say the bottles can not lie! Much like my static balancer some things are best left simple. But yes it will be well used, very compact, well made and looks great! Just what I have been after in about twenty years!

Don't miss out:-

Me? I didn't 'do' anything to my TDM today, as such. I just took it for a ride and really enjoyed it.

Ha, now looking at your avatar you seem to be just the kind of candidate for a pair of wrap round shades ;)

Did try my thermals out on theTDM last night, nice and warm sat at the cafe eating my toffee cake! :D

Removed wiring for my old car based Sat Nav. Installed hard wiring for Zumo 660. Whilst doing that I also ran a switched live & earth for one of these.

On the slow boat from China £4.10 delivered.

Same seller is also selling this for £9.38 delivered. Not sure how this would work as it needs a sim card. Anyone shed any light on it for me?

Any sim card should it, if your bike is nicked you can phone it i believe and it will txt a link to your mobile for google maps to show location of your bike.

re: GPS Tracker - I think they work "on-demand" in that they aren't constantly transmitting, using up airtime. If the bike has been taken you would 'call' it and it would log its location for you. Im not sure how it would then ping its location to you but im sure it can be done via text or smart-phone map / similar.

Thanks guys.

I'm assuming that this could be wired in with a permanent live feed, or switched. Downside with switched is you'd only find location if the bike was being used.

Perhaps more investigation required.

Went and stuffed a cheese burger and chips at the cafe, washed it down with a coffee, moments later felt the need to check out the toffee cake again, followed by another coffee, tough afternoon...lol

Mind you, if you'd seen the bike I had this morning you'd know why I went out :(
