Pushed it off the centre stand and dropped it
It's ok though my Son's 600 Hornet broke it's fall and the scaffolding beside that broke the Hornets fall
Cracked fairing on the TDM only damage but some JB weld will sort that

On the positive side found a loose connector on left hand coil that was causing issues which I thought was the usual Water & Coil problem - will no doubt find out in a day or so

Rode it for the first time since mid-November. Luvverly.

It fired up immediately (ain't fuel injection great?) and after resetting the mirrors - knocked in the garage - went to Lauder down the A68 (mind the Gatsos!) for a bit of Scottish M/c Club business, and back via Stow and the A7 - 2hrs15' going steady in the damp and self-assessing my riding.

It needed a good wash from the salt, but it will be clean for the full valve service starting soon. I've got the Cagiva running & checked, ready as a stand-in.

Here's to a good biking year - we need one.

Exactly Lee, but the "huge sacrifice"of selling a bike I want to sell anyway, looks like meeting half way....ish. Could just work...

Finally removed the Givi rack for the hard luggage. So much tidier. Haven't used it for years now. Gone on to soft luggage. If anybody is interested in a couple of Givi Trekker(33ltrs) cases with rack let me know.

I touched mine in the dark hours of this morning, like all good niner owners do.

Driving home from Dundee last night my car's water pump died, and needing to return to Dundee in the early hours of this morning I wheeled out my only road legal bike, the KTM, and knowing I had an hour on the motorway in the rain ahead of me, and that the KTM is naked and vibrates a lot, and as charming as that sounds, I wished I could've just jumped on the TDM.

I suspect I might put it through the MOT in the coming days, and bite the bullet with the insurance to run two, if it's cheap enough

Removed the Tyre pressure monitoring system that lasted 6 months before the front sensor gave out........................and tried to re-instate the brake light in the Givi Top Box. I still can't get a reliable connection between the box and the plate which was why I took it off last time!
