i think fir this moment in time i have found a soul mate in the Tiger

2700 miles and its just getting better and better
today i was an outrider / escort for 6 workmates doing a tortuous 72 mile pushbike ride in the scottish lowlands, and i was tickover for a lot of the time with spells of madness when roads were good

the tiger can just do it all ( bit like the TDM with a tad more power)

Don't stop now.
It looks like you saw many of the same sights and did the same roads as we did around the same time.
But you missed one sight on this day:

You had lunch in Banyuls (we were on the camping a week before), then crossed the border into Spain and passed Figueres. The last part of the road towards figueres suddenly becomes very straight, busy and boring. But there's sminkies hiding in them bushes alongside the road!
When I saw the first I thought she can't be wearing those hot pants an that top to work in them fields can she? But when I noticed her colleagues nicely spaced out every couple of 100 metres wearing glitter tops and pumps it dawned on me that this was a very busy trucker road

We did miss out on the Fours solaires though...

TAM
Do it soon Tam - it's fantastic. Been there a few times myself and stayed in the Jonte Gorge here http://travel.viamic...te-Jonte_Gorge-.
Jonte and Tarn Gorges are well worth riding.

sorry, getting the DSLR out while riding was a bit difficult. And stopping would have resulted in some major slaps to the head from the missus

Starts of with a really nice little run from Mick's place to a nice seaside town of Franqui * sp
windmills and tight nadgery little lanes with no traffic ( made for the tigger)

amazing how loud these are when your within 500 metres or so ( would hate to live close to one )

Beach shots

Bliss = sitting looking out to a sandy beach waiting on our Grand Cafe Creme

Back to Mick's Place for a wash and brush up then out for lunch, we had dined here last year and really liked it SO a revisit was in order
fine dining in port vendres

Mick and the very patient Anne

The boys watching women walk by and posing thinking theyr'e gods gift

Various views of the harbour

some classic cars on a catalunya rally

Then what the boys had been promised and waited for all week

afterwards a lovely little gorge near Mick's place lovely evening sun and the locals having fun (look closely to spot the nutters)

and the english Nutters LOL

the route for the morning bike run

and the profile (how low can you go)

1 days riding left for tomorrow
