No they're not leaking, but the dust seals are perishing, though its passed the last two mots like that and the guy in the mot shop said don't bother till they start leaking. I just wondered how hard it was to do, if its too involved for a fettle day I may just leave it till it needs doing and eat bacon sarnies and cake instead!

Seems the fettle day organising is coming together nicely Martin ! biggrin.gif

Martin, have you got an Abba stand to be able to do this, or is anyone bringing one?

Chris, the manual method of doing the fork seals is to slide hammer them apart, which knackers the bushes so you'd need to replace them as well. There are a few options for getting the seals out without removing the bushes but they're not that reliable.

Chris, just been clearing out the garage & come across a bag of parts that I was supposed to send you last August/September! hide.gif

Sorry, forgot all about them, will post in the next day or two in case they are of any use to you for the fettling!

Have Abba stand, will bring tongue.gif

Now, I can either run it round to Cats before, and then on the day come on the bike

or load up the car with tools & compressor again doubtfull.gif

Cats you got a list of who wants to do what (apart form eat cake & drink tea/coffee)?
Done: Homo sap navigation/ twisty thing on bars to make it go vroom/ grabby thing to make it stop (in front of twisty thing)/ 'leccy things front and rear to make it glow at night/ Sucky + drippy oiler thing to keep chains moist (!!) / Laser Pro Stock Race pipes / bleeding ear drums (see previous mod)
To do: Educate homo sap nav system to operate twisty + grabby things/ get ear plugs

All Trashed Now... Pants... its a Cat B Mwahahaha it lives again!!

Remember every driver is a deaf myoptic twat who is out to kill you, ALWAYS assume they are going to do THE most f*cking DUMBASS, STUPID manouver possible, at the worst possible moment; get past, and get past quick

JHT has a very valid point here. At the moment it's looking like a big O'l BBq with Cake n Tea

So who wants to do what on what?

For me the only thing I want to do is an Air Filter change
(Jules bring that Tank Rod you stole from me that I stole from Dazzer)
And to have my suspension set-up

Who else

I need to swap my under seat scott oiler for the behind number plate touring reservoir.

Wouldn't mind having a play at throttle body synchronisation if Julian's bringing the gauges but I can ply him with cake another time if we're short of time or it reduces the amount of kit he needs to bring.

Need to fiddle with my auxiliary electrics too but can do that at home.

I also intend to eat plenty of BBQ'd goodies and cake. Let me know nearer the time what you might be short of Martin, I can easily drop in to the butchers on the way over, or I might make a cake or something.
