True !

To be honest - nobody should be discouraged from coming on here - the site is certainly a lot quieter than it has been in the past

Yeah, seems quite a few members prefer to use facebook.  Had a look on there for the first time last week using my bro's account.

That said, quieter isn't necessarily a bad thing :) and it's always quieter over summer.

Honestly, I would rather that  this Forum CARPE-TDM.net survived,

with former owners who could still give advice and share the respect they have for a ground breaking bike that they loved, the Yamaha TDM,

than the site closed.......... :sorry:

The fact that I rub people up because they are gullible and buy a shite bike, that everyone else buys, is just for laughs. I don't hold it against them on a personal level,

apart from Sidestand, LDRider and now Mott101, who should be ridden by a elephant until the cry...... :punishment:

I have given this a great deal of thought and a great deal of time, well 10mins yesterday whilst curling one off, and have came to the conclusion, the truth, the most earth shattering revelation.......

Buying a BMW, especially a big GS is a bit like shopping at Waitrose for me, I used to be able to afford to do that 10 years ago, but not anymore. These days it's Sainsbury's or Asda when things are tight.
