The last 40,000 are still there, so no more needed just yet!

But at least one thing was settled today ....... MKII Silver and Yellows are way faster than MKI of any indeterminate colour!!!!

I blame lack of practice, prior to that I'd done about 60 miles in the previous month and a half, as you could probably tell from my lack of confidence with overtakes rolleyes.gif

So if Mk1 riders like burgers and Mk2 riders prefer egg and chips, what do 900 riders eat?

I averaged 38mpg by the way which might explain why you could smell fuel ranting.gif jht's gonna show me hows to do my emulsion tubes though which should help good.gif

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Thames Valley don't send you a link to the photo like Wiltshire do, I'm half tempted to request it under FOI regs

A4 Bath Road, Thatcham, 40 in a 30 at 15:13. I stopped to see if my mate was in, and then got back on the A4 when I found he wasn't, so it could well be after we split as I think technically Thatcham starts after that point and I don't think there's a 30 limit before then, although me not thinking there's a 30 limit there is probably why I was doing 40 in a 30 rolleyes.gif Threshold for a speed awareness workshop seems to be 39 ranting.gif

There's knee armour specifically for them, depending where you get them it can be free, however it velcros on to the inside of a pair of pretty baggy trousers so is free to move all over the place and therefore IMO not much use. I bought some Knox motocross knee armour to wear under it instead.

ouch, if thats the camera i think it is, its just before an Esso petrol station, i used to pass thru there weekly so i would have been aware of it
i'll check the post when i get home tho just incase

i dont normally wear the armor under the jeans, but agree the free stuff you get is good quality although not really great for baggy troosers
as Chris says the moto-x stuff would get my vote
