R & G, damage mostly superficial and no cracks or bent levers, so I think bungs and handguards did help. Bruises still spreading!

What are you guys making those out of?  Sort of look likes old propane tanks.

Edit:  I guess I should have just Googled "mini log stove" - all sorts of ideas.  Although I can't say I'm too keen on cutting into an old propane tank.

I left a message for they guy but he hasn't returned my call yet.  I'd just fix it myself, but he has the plastic bezel that goes around the keyhole.  I was relieved to learn they are still available from boats.net if it comes to that.

Fitted my up and back SWM risers, had to pull some slack up for the cables but all ok now and have new custom Hel brake lines tomorrow not that the brake is over tight but hay best do it right, puts the switch gear up agains my small SWM tank bag on full lock slightly, I was ready to scrap the idea but looks like I will have to poke up with the slightly strange look as now it's much better for my arms, needed to get in a more up right position to relive the stress on my sick elbow after a few hours ride, I am super happy with the position now!

 As raining today.........

Fabricated some mountings which were then used to fit a Givi Monokey topbox plate to complement the Yamaha panniers

Painted the mountings too.

Converted dip beam to a 55w HID H7R then discovered that high beam is very yellow.

The upholsterer can't locate the lock cover.  He offered to fix it, but he's 40 miles away in a direction I'm not usually headed.  Since I was ordering a new cover ($15) anyway, I figured I might as well order a couple OEM Majesty mirrors ($100 pair) while I was at it.  My seat cover is getting expensive!

I;m sure that Celtic posted up about mixing HID & Normal, and issues with beam patterns.

Think it came down to both normal or both HID, otherwise you'll never get a good beam pattern on the road...

Here is a good solution to HI beam and LOW (tested on a blade OK but not in the TDM), but you will need to tuck the heat sink braided cable away.

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d2acbac72

Beam pattern is not ideal imo hence why I use H7® in my low beam also, I also have H7® HI beam, you can buy quick start HID kits not normally known as quick start as such but check the spec as kits do exist that fire up to full lumens in a second or so unlike most that take 10-15secs.

I am very happy with my HID kits, however I did buy some Charley wannabe lights (GIVI LED DRL's) and tbh they are amazing!  As big of an upgrade again as the HIDs were..
