What are you guys making those out of? Sort of look likes old propane tanks.
Edit: I guess I should have just Googled "mini log stove" - all sorts of ideas. Although I can't say I'm too keen on cutting into an old propane tank.

So, does anybody notice anything unusual about my new seat cover?? I'll give you a hint: it is easy to figure out when trying to check the oil

I left a message for they guy but he hasn't returned my call yet. I'd just fix it myself, but he has the plastic bezel that goes around the keyhole. I was relieved to learn they are still available from boats.net if it comes to that.

As raining today.........
Fabricated some mountings which were then used to fit a Givi Monokey topbox plate to complement the Yamaha panniers
Painted the mountings too.
Converted dip beam to a 55w HID H7R then discovered that high beam is very yellow.
Single-handedly reviving the Wave.

The upholsterer can't locate the lock cover. He offered to fix it, but he's 40 miles away in a direction I'm not usually headed. Since I was ordering a new cover ($15) anyway, I figured I might as well order a couple OEM Majesty mirrors ($100 pair) while I was at it. My seat cover is getting expensive!

I;m sure that Celtic posted up about mixing HID & Normal, and issues with beam patterns.
Think it came down to both normal or both HID, otherwise you'll never get a good beam pattern on the road...

Here is a good solution to HI beam and LOW (tested on a blade OK but not in the TDM), but you will need to tuck the heat sink braided cable away.
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d2acbac72
Beam pattern is not ideal imo hence why I use H7® in my low beam also, I also have H7® HI beam, you can buy quick start HID kits not normally known as quick start as such but check the spec as kits do exist that fire up to full lumens in a second or so unlike most that take 10-15secs.
I am very happy with my HID kits, however I did buy some Charley wannabe lights (GIVI LED DRL's) and tbh they are amazing! As big of an upgrade again as the HIDs were..

Few pics, SWM barback risers fitted.
Defo helps my arm (torn tendons on elbow and a plate on my collar bone )
Now to fit some Hel lines (+20mm) for the risers:)
