It's not a closed shop chap, you can play catch-up anytime, book a ferry, tell her indoors, buy a tent, and get your stomach ready for quite a lot of scoops and your in.

i've got another mate who's interested in coming too, so if you are defo interested in the MT Italy job theres likely to be another cabin being booked for the ferry out

I am planning to go down to Geneva and along the alps, then up to megatreff.

I cannot leave until Sat 18th, and have to be back at work on Mon 27th.

Would love to catch up with you guys somewhere in Northern Italy.

Sat - Calais to Geneva
Sun = Geneva - St Moritz
Mon = Stelvio
Tue = GrosGlockner
Wed = Up to Megarteff
Thur/Fri/Sat Megatreff
Sun Screem back to Calais for Sunday evening Eurotunnel.

Yes - taking the 900 - probably its last major outing. It has a bit of cam chain rattle at the moment - I may risk it - or I may try fettling with the tensioner and guides just to see if it will tighten up a bit.

I'll probably be dead before mine has 105K miles on the clock as I only do around 8K/year unsure.gif

TD here - just had a curry with furrycomfybum and we been nattering about routes
can do the usual route planning in the evening, but dont fink we'll have time on the ferry as its an 11pm sailing

our ferry gets into Le Harve at 0800, so we will already be fueled up with breaky and ready to rock the moment we hit French soil
so should get a decent full days riding in, i doubt we'll get much past Dijon but this looks like a decent route

what say ye folk?

374 miles in day looks like a hell of a long way to me if the roads are at all interesting.

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.
