Ali: think I'll struggle to manage that much.

Chris, I've got the manual printed out. I printed it double sided and stuck it in a lever arch file.

Well thats me back tyre changed and new chain and sprockets fitted. Feels smooooth and the gear box feels less like it fell out of a tractor wink.gif

Just need to re-adjust the chain to get a little slack back into it and I'll be ready for a spin down to Cats to scrub the tyre in. Whoo hoo! biggrin.gif

Ok. Gonna put a limit on this now. Only because I'm in a really small home, surrounded by Old Folk who like things quite in this part of town (say in John Wayne voice)

They will probably freak when visited by the Wild Hogs. laugh.gif

Can you now reply with your screen name and what work you intend to do

Just a quick check and adjust of chain required, I reckon 35mm play HBOL reckons 40-50mm.

Got to dump No1 son at rehearsals in the morning and probably pick up in afternoon as well so may just be a flying visit.

Hi Martin

Now I know where you live I can appreciate your noble concern for your neighbours. As I am only able to pop in for an hour or so in the morning and wasn't intending to do any tinkering I'm quite happy to drop out to keep the numbers down and let the longer distance travellers have their chance. Could always meet up another less 'busy' time.

Let me know your thoughts - happy to go along with whatever you feel best.

I don't do bike cleaning - haven't cleaned it since you last saw it, I just ride it. Red bits are still shiney-ish; the rest is black, filthy and rusty.

That said I might use this as an opportunity to give it a quick wipe over with an oily rag - that's my limit anyway.

See you Sunday then.
