If I can give myself an edge in letting them see me when I'm out on two wheels I'm going to try it mate but I've got to say those 9ners look cool in black and with matching shotguns.. That gives me an idea ?

Latestarter,
These are the ones I bought from you and recently fitted:
I did post this image after I'd fitted them, but after the Carpe crash, it lost the thread!!
They only look bright because Im in my underground works car park with my camera phone a few inches in front, but for DRLs, they work really well. Already started to see a difference in car drivers and how they notice you more easily when running with these.
I've wired them in to the ignition switched relay for my heated grips. Took a live from the output of that, to a simple dual pole toggle switch, the live feed from the lights to the other side of the switch. Earthed each light separately to the frame. I also fitted a little indicator lamp in the dash next to the switch. Live from the side of the switch the lights go to, and earthed to the frame. Hope this helps!

AzzA, I've just bought some similar to these, how did you wire them in mate...
I also fitted heated grips at the same time and ran the lot through an Eastern Beaver relay unit... but, if I remember correctly, you could happily tap these into your front parking light without threatening the fuse (do check the current rating though; I could be in the early stages of senility)

For a cheap DIY see http://www.carpe-tdm...896#entry159859
I connected them to the running light via a waterproof switch, just in case they need to be turned off.
They also double as extra curve light in the dark.
