It's been a long hard road to get there as I tested it all out on cheaper aluminium first, to learn how to set the tool.
I made sort of truncated dome like cutting the top off an egg the first time I tried it until I did some calculations and worked out how to get centre on something that moves. ( Old trick with a stiff feeler gauge)
No, I'm stopping blingy bits now, less is more as they say.
Suspension is the next job, but need to save up more beer tokens.

I have cracked mirror finishing brass. 2000 to 7000 grit papers and cutting fluid.

I really ought to stop with the polishing bits now. I need to get out and ride it. The secret is to use 6% soluble oil cutting fluid instead of water. It's essential to keep it wet and wear mask as CZ121 has lead in it

No monkeys to were harmed in the making of the brass balls. Obviously two were made. Eventually they may not stay on if I come up with adjustable fork caps, working onn that one.

I liked the look of a brass gear lever peg on a custom bike website, but they wanted £30 odd for one. They gave dimensions in the specs sheet so I got busy with a bit of brass in the collet chuck.
I made one to my design as I wanted the cap screw in a counterbore. Cost me maybe £1.

It's ok, I haven't gone full Easy Rider yet or the Jet helmet and brass Halcyon Mk9 goggles.
I'm at both ends of the bike spectrum, Niner for fast motorway miles, Trumpet for lazy Sunday afternoons.

Adding the stainless luggage bars needed a rethink on my brass cone shock bolt design,as it didn't fit in the recessed tube end. So...
