Look, Hire cars in IRL dont have wheels trims as some of the B roads are so bad. And. Bikes dont have wheels trims too.

We really should go

I used to travel to Ireland for 4 days every month (in a car mad.gif ) Business. The best bit of my travels was in the Hotel where the Barman would know your face, nod, you would sit down and 4 mins later a Guinesss would arrive

We should go

So no location/manager was decided on during the last RTT? That would explain why things have descended into chaos?

If you want to mark your location on the Carpe map: http://www.carpe-tdm...opic.php?t=5117

"The Carpe European Tour of Cake"

now there's an idea.

i understood the idea of having it in UK again was to reduce cost (since 9/10 are from UK) to save up for next year so when in 2009 comes this time you could say
"honey, this year I'm going to Croatia with the lads from Carpe"

Croatia, Andorra... fine by me
Hungary by OF.uk would be bit early i think.
OF.uk, guessing you and amErica could use some time to settle in before this lot descends on you. IF you except this mission. this tape will selfdestruct in...
always wanted to do that :-)

doing Andorra before they join the EU would be good idea (0-4% tax),
Schuberth C2 = €360 ... BMWStephan bought one and im getting one next year and ill bin my current helmet there.
there's one street in Andorra La Vella wich is like "motorcentral", lots of bikestuff shops.
packet of sigs = €1.50
bottle of Bowmore 12yr = €24.00
68° absynth = €6.00
86° absytnh = €15.00
cup of coffee = €0.80

Not at all. We plan on being there in July anyway, whether that's just on holiday (because all our plans have gone tits up....again!) or living there. Hopefully the latter as the intention now is to sell up in April.

It is a bloody long way. It's 1450 miles from my house in East Lancs to Sirok. It is possible in 2 days on a TDM or similar but 3 days would be better.

It's a trip I'd be up for but I think for an RTT surely having it in a location that we're likely to get the maximum number of people, ie closer to the majority of the population, would make more sense.

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

if its a long journey maybe we can go for a travelling RTT
making the journey to and from the RTT, only travel 250-300km per day.
and only stay 3 days at the end destination then travel back together.

I know a nice camp site in Austria about 10 miles from Rachau(as in Rachau hill climb) that can accomodate about 100 tents, has a bar, restauraunt(sp?) lake for swimming, and puts on a great BBQ too and if you wanted to make it the hill climb weekend you'd get to see an exellent sporting event too.

fook the majority. You know you have to cater for the minority these days.

Crate up your bikes and come to the east coast of Oz.
- traffic free roads
- currency exchange in your favour
- brilliant weather
- cold cheap beer

What more do you want?
