Couldn't agree more. Just seems to be a never ending series of whinges, luvvie-spats

I don't want to watch endless footage of the two of them moaning - I wanna know more about the journey.

Ewan and Charlie should read the stories on the "Life is a Road" website

If you've not met it already, the Horizons Unlimited website is generally considered one of the best for travelers tales, and it even includes our very own Godzillamonster's trip from the UK to NZ on a Mk1.

Especially if you do it twice

I must admit it does get a little depressing after a while sat in the office bored shitless reading about people having a great time. I either need to find some work to do (getting paid to do nothing gets dull after a while) or feck off somewhere nice on the bike!

Do you get the feeling they chose the route according to where past tragedies have happened? Then they can play the distraught card and throw in a bit of snivelling for good measure.
Why didn't they just cut to the chase and visit Auschwitz, Belsen, and Buchenwald instead? The riding would have been much easier and they would have had all the misery and despair they could handle. And then some.

Just at the end of the last episode it started to show a bit of promise, but it's nowhere near as genuine as the first series.

It would have made more sense to use unladen Transalps and stick the gear in the truck.
They'd have saved themselves about 150lbs in weight, made the bikes more manoevrable, and there's no way on this planet that the Transalps would have failed like the Beemers have.
The drawback is an unladen Transalp wouldn't have been quite as trendy and macho as a loaded Beemer would it?

I think they are trying to repeat the success by copying the Long Way Around too closely.
But I feel as though I should see it through to the end. - don't realy know why though?
XT1200Z - Big and bouncy
GTR1400 - Chaufer the wife.
XT660Z - Fun and commute.
TDM900 - Yellow.

You know the best tool for the job? A couple of old XT600's. Tough as old boots, and built for the job.
Nah....forget it! Less fashionable than a Transalp! If that's possible!

G'Day guys & gals
The series hasn't got to the land of oz yet, but they've just started re-showing Long Way Round again, as a lead up me thinks.
Occasionally a motorcycle adventure comes along that just seems to grab your interest and won't let go until you've finished.
It can be a real bastard if you come across it half way through, as it seems to take for ages for the next instalments.
Here's a couple (sorry if I'm biased towards dirt adventures, but these two are extraordinary in anyone's view I think.)
" Angola, it's not like they said "
" 3 x KTM Go East "
The way they are written, you just find yourself wanting more.
( Hint: if you find there is too much of other peoples crap between instalments just left click the curser over the writers name in the left column & click find more posts)
Hope you enjoy the links.
Cheers
