He's missed the most important photo of the day, Breakfast

I got accused of being skinny as I tucked in to my egg, bacon, mushroom, sausage, beans and toast blink.gif
I'm being crap with names again though, above photo is:
Guinessgrim, Cavey, er....oops...sorry...forgotten...thats embarrasing, Saga Lout, Catsbum, FiremanSam. I think.

SagaLout went his own way from Arlesford, and GuinessGrim and Catsbum split off at West Meon (I'd made the mistake of mentioning to Catsbum that one of the next bits of road might be a bit wet and muddy so he rushed hime to polish his bike instead rolleyes.gif ), the rest of us headed back to Lasham Gliding Club and sat in the sun watching the planes for a bit.

Fantastic weather, damp roads to start with but lovely and warm and sunny later on, by the time I got home I was wishing I'd put my summer gloves on. Nice morning out, good to meet you all good.gif You might have even shamed me in to cleaning the bike this afternoon ohmy.gif

Many thanks to Chris for organising a superb route. good.gif A nice variety of fast and wiggly roads/lanes that suit the TDM down to the ground. cool.gif. I'm sure he didn't organise the weather but that was fab too! Weren't we lucky?!!!

Great to meet you all. drinks.gif

The number plate seemed to hang in there (literally) until I got home. rolleyes.gif Apologies to Fireman Sam who nearly got the offending plastic bolt in his face! excl.gif Not that the bike was clean before I started, but it's all a bit mucky now, (partly due to some single track lanes that Chris lead us down!) I may have to get a bucket out before it starts raining.

No pics from me as Mrs Cavey is away with the camera at the mo.

Cheers,

Cavey.
It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got.

I assume you mean Catsbum's rather shiny super ten rather than my slightly tatty Mk1 rolleyes.gif

I'm liking his yellow running lights mounted in the redundant air intake cutout weird bits on the faring. Photo doesn't do them justice, he was following me and you could see them from a long way back and made his bike really obvious.

Also, was great to catch-up with some of you I already know and also to meet yet more Carpe members for the first time, plus, as said before, a few who live in such close proximity to me drinks.gif

Sorry I only rode for half the ride-out but it was only good fortune that I made it at all...will hopefully have greater staying power at the next g2g yahoo.gif
