Best time I ever had on me TDM was using it on entirely unsuitable terrain, the exhileration was enhanced by watching the clenched buttocks of a wee 900 rider infront of me in the same situation, wouldn't have swapped that TDM experience for any of me old crossers. Anyone read the book about the guy who took his goldwing around tut globe? He dragged that thing through some of the terrain, not the most suitable....suuuure....but thats part of the challenge.
Dapper - whats the book called? APW
Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.
Long Loved TDM is no longer with me...

TDM can swim.

More videos to come.
And after a really hard ride one of us wanted to clean the bike a bit.

Other pics: http://taff.planet.e...ages/foto0.html
The front wheel was all under sand. About an hour of hard work we got it out and drove home. No water in oil or carbs. Only the front lights were full of water and the bulbs were blown in about 30 seconds.

You fellas are deserving of serious respect - taking yer bikes where some would not take their WR250's and stuff.
Gives me something to aim for.

Deer - dead
Rider - crack in collarbone.
Bike - lot of scratches, bent front forks, home-made crashbars (thank you Masterbrewer) saved the engine.

Thanks to wearing protective gear the rider will be OK soon.
As soon as I get pics of the bike will post them here too.
