G'day from back in a now cool Oz


To top off an absolutely "once in a 30 year" White Christmas/New Year MB Adventure tour, which had everything we could have wished for (sorry to the locals who have had to suffer the weather ), our drive to Heathrow from Windsor at 22.00 on Thursday was amazingly in fine, calm, clear weather, just as when we had arrived some 33 days earlier

Must have felt like you'd been Tango'd for 31 days

Thanks for posting up yer travels, it's been a joy to read

Could you please wish for an indian summer christmas in England/Scotland if your thinking of visiting again, it'd be most appreciated

I've started practicing Tony, but everyday in South Australia is nice sunny weather at the moment.

After 7 weeks idle, two short bursts on the starter, a wiggle of the tank and another burst on the starter and me lovely udda "bee-arch" roared into life and we got acquainted again

And NO snow in sight for our 360km ride today ............................... life is good

Bloody hell I think we were very lucky, thanks to your & others' guidence along the way.

I've now ticked that box on things to do before I die and am moving on to the next one ........................................ but the memories are fantastic I might add

Off on my first big day ride tomorrow, some 400kms northeast of Adelaide to Morgan on the River Murray & back, through some fantastic "DRY" (although maybe a bit dusty) tracks. Lucky it's gunna be windy to help clear the dust.

I would just like to say, due to MB's previous information, I am fitting TKC80's to the TDM MKI next week.

Don't fit in with the thread but hey ho MB inspired me.
