Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Not sure if the rest of you have had issues finding a supplier or like me don't have a local Suzy dealer (or one of any use)
I got mine from the follow http://www.gpwheels......4-%2d-08.html
All i can say so far is top notch service - they actually listed them at 2pm as they were not on their website, i order at 2.45, they were at my front door the next day.
Top notch service and price (well it thought) Hope it is of help to anyone else looking to get this mod done.

£10 for getting the bar ends machined.
£44.96 for the Suzuki hand guards at my local Suzi dealer (they were ordered as Pt. Nr. 57300-27822-291 but on the box it had 57300-27823-291). What surprised me was that there was no need to extend the thread of the bolt supplied for the clutch side, it was already threaded up the shoulder - so the job was even easier. Maye Suzuki have noticed they're selling more handguard sets than V-Stroms and modified the parts to suit...

I have a small problem in the fact that I cant find anywhere local (Blackburn, Lancashire) to machine the bar end weights as below?
Can anyone help or recommend somewhere?

I'll try again tomorrow in the daylight but do they need quite a hefty push?

Hi all," breaking my duck or popping my cherry" call it what you will but this my first post on here !! Recently just bought a 900 (2006) and have been trawling through the site for all the info. First job was to get the much debated handguards on,after reading all the different options decided to go for the V-Strom guards now £50 at local Suzuki dealer. Can only say massive thanks to Hartside Man for the "BRILLIANT" tutorial, after getting a mate to machine bar ends (for a pint !!) it really was a fool proof description of how to fit them. Well happy ........what to do next.
Cheers - Colin.
