Since apparently they had around 30 actual orders (even though only about 10 posted here), I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they made a couple extra sets.  As MickC said - it can't hurt to ask them directly.

Mine arrived today in the USA in only 4 days!  The package and contents were soaking wet - must everything in England be damp?!?

Everything was in good shape, though, and the quality of the bars (welds and finish) is impressive.  Can't wait to bolt them up.

My bars arrived in Canada today. Nice and dry so I imagine they came by air instead of sea.

Moved to Canada and had to sell my 05 900.
OU55FRD if you're still out there, I miss you.

Now own two complete TDM's (3VD) and one parts bike.

Just because the waters freezes in Canada and turns to snow and ice, doesn't mean they weren't wet! :P

Have you removed the charcoal canister on any of your TDMs yet?  I needed to remove mine to fit the bars and currently just have the two hoses dangling.  I assume they are just vent hoses.  I know the one from the tank is.  I'm a bit more concerned about the one from the carb - I haven't been able to determine where it comes from looking at various fiches, and I'm not inclined to remove the tank again if I don't need to.

I guess if it runs like crap, it was probably a vacuum hose and I'll just plug it.

The bars look great and fit very well.  Removing the two engine bolts  was a bit of a chore, but after some PB Blaster and elbow grease, they came off with a little effort.

I searched several times and couldn't find it, but I guess 10th time is the charm:  http://www.carpe-tdm...rcoal#entry4325

It's titled "Exhaust System Routing" - which may explain why I didn't find it before.  Anyway, it wasn't totally conclusive, but it appears the carb line is vacuum to draw the venting from the tank and needs to be capped.  Works for me.

Thanks!

I've been a bit skint lately, so have probably missed this great offer. :sorry:

If Renntec are happy to repeat this good deed, will there be any takers to get another batch together in a few months time?
