I'll lead the northern one if you wish I know that like the back of my hand :good: the last bit before hawick is a peach of a road!


I more then familiar with the route too, so If I'm not away I'm happy to act as 'sweeper' and keep any stragglers on course.

Ah right. Think I might be the first to book then.

I did notice quite a few places in the bunkhouse are already taken for either of the 2 nights so might be an idea to get booking if peeps want a bunkhouse bed.

In the process of moving house at the mo so working down my to do list slowly.

If all goes to plan I will be camping the Friday & Saturday nights. Will hopefully book this weekend.

Now then, I have got my ex apprentice into bikes & he has passed his test & bought himself a XJ6

If no one minds he would like to come as well but because he hasn't spent many hours in the saddle we will pass on the ride out & do a little one ourselves. Let me know if that's ok coz he will need to buy a tent :good: 

 

So Studley is getting soft & would prefer the comfort of the bunkhouse. :hide:

Away from the midges, torrential rain and freezing cold nights. :D  Also, costs less than buying me a decent new sleeping bag and mattress.

I am now able to come now, had a free weekend pop up. I have not booked, but would just turn up and camp.

iirc the owner will provide an evening meal and breakfast so a list of who's going and wants a meal on Friday eve would be handy.

I'm booked into the "Witherite" bunk room, on the Friday & Saturday, If we're booking food on Friday night, count me in.
