just doing a Google for manufacturers of TRX plastic..Reckon there's a good investment opportunity there

Yeah I will, but I wasn't going that fast into the bend, I must of been doing 15mph, it was the fact that it was a stupidly sharp turn (with no warning signs on the approach) and the roads were wet

I'm not preaching or sitting on my high horse cause I still get caught out every so often after 25 years of riding.
One other thing , were you lead man Hutch ? With your riding experience it's maybe better riding mid pack then you get to see the lines and speed others take.
Anyways , glad you're ok

Firstly, glad to hear your OK and Trixi will live to fight another day.

But
I'm with Dappers on this one, It's about reading the road and conditions, knowing the limits of you and your bike, and riding within them.
A police instructor I ride with sometimes said the order of priorities when riding is-:
What you can see
What you can't see
What might possibly happen.
And this has saved my life on more than one occasion.
When I was out with Chris and Sponge on Friday I was noticeably slower than both cos I was 2 up and couldn't stop or turn as quick as them, there's no embarrassment in riding slower than someone else, better to arrive 20 minutes later than not at all.
However having said all that Spongy thought we were goners when I pulled out of a side road across the path of a quarry vehicle that was going quicker than I thought, apparently there was only a couple of foot in it.
The fact is that we all make mistakes, so long as you learn from them and don't make the same mistakes a second time your doing it right.
BTW, did the 4x4 driver stop to see if you wuz OK and did you give em a piece of your mind?

There was only four of us having a ride and I was third, I like to stick near the back of the pack anyway
BTW, did the 4x4 driver stop to see if you wuz OK and did you give em a piece of your mind?
Nope, he just kept going, if he had looked in his mirrors, he would of defo seen that I came off cos he had a perfect view of where it all happened

I always stick near the back of the pack cos I know I am a slower rider than others and I do not do anything on the bike that I am not happy or comfortable with doing, and I am more than happy to make the front riders wait half an hour if need be for me to catch up, it's funny, as I was only saying this to ChrisG on the Friday night!
I should be able to get her fixed for Ireland, the front fairing might be an odd colour scheme, but we'll be there

you might find you can keep it up better with one of them HONDA TRX's

yep, very good - but I might actually look into one of them!!!

Yeah same mate, really nice to meet you too, even though the off, I still had a laugh and a good time.
It took a very booorrriiinnnggg 5 and a half hours on the frigging motorway, great fun

The route shall stay stored on my TomTom already for next time where I will make it further than 6.3 miles

Safe riding mate and catch you soon
Bugger man, and I thought we had bad weather in Wales, them waves are terrible, rather be on land than on a boat in those
