Something I usually organise for the RTTs, but forgot until now , is to collate everyone's name, mobile number and emergency contact details to share. So, if you want to, PM me the following:
Carpe Name
Real Name
Mobile Tel. No.
Emergency Contact Name.
Emergency Contact Tel. No.
I'll collate them and then PM everyone back so we've all got each other's details.

I think you need the breathalyser for France Darren, Halfrauds sell them. I think the froggies also have laws about reflective bits on helmet & clothes but don't enforce them for foreign riders.

January 2013 - the French government announced that the implementation of the sanction for drivers not carrying a breathalyser – a fine of €11 – has been postponed indefinitely.
So theoretically you are still required to carry a self-test breathalyser when driving in France but there is no current legislation demanding a fine for non-compliance.
The original official announcement stated that one unused, certified breathalyser must be produced showing the French certification mark NF. Carrying two single-use breathalysers will ensure that if one is used or damaged, you will still have a spare to produce. The breathalyser produced has to be in date - single-use breathalysers normally have a validity of twelve months.

08:00 breakfast
Then Eupen for supplies first thing.
Off for a proper day out at 10:00 looking for flat straight roads. Went all the way to the Nurburg ring and back - but could not find any.
Filled up with petrol just before getting back to Monschau hotel - battery dead. Bump started and made it back to the hotel. Oh no - not the dreaded alternator - again..................
Thinking what to do.................................?????????????????????????????????????????????
