Just haggled a deal with Virgin to get BT Spurt on for a month - after listening to Neil Hodgson prattling on about himself rather than commentate, I'm beginning to doubt my sanity - what a slavering tit that boy is!

Now it's Ryder and Heuwen - I thought Heuwen was bang out of order last week when he became judge and jury in 2 laps of seeing no more than what we saw - hopefully he's learned from that and we have a clean weekend of quality racing.

Not gonna name drop (BUT) a local business man who owns my local in Guisborough and also runs a successful BSB Yamaha race team told me Rossi spent 3 days at Jerez (after the gp) circulating on a "works" R1, supposedly he/Team VR46 are running a team in WSBK next year....
Read into that what ya want.......

Shaun Muir has been snubbed by Yamaha who have gone elsewhere (Crescent) for their WSB team. Last I heard he was looking at Suzuki or Aprilia for WSB or maybe not even running a team. I thought I'd seen that Rossi had signed again for Yamaha but I can't find it the story now.

Dorna must be secretly rubbing their hands - should be a record TV audience for Sunday. Even the Beeb have mentioned it so it must be big news - they only normally bother when a rider gets killed.........................

Rossi is on a 2 year deal with MotoGP - which means 2016 too

I thought he is in a 2yr Yamaha contract rather than a Moto GP contract!!??!! Which would leave him "free" to go to WSBK "if" he want to leave Moto GP as reigningChampion??!!??
See what comes out in the wash after Sunday....

See what happens this weekend first, any more of his antics and he wont be going anywhere.

Moto GP and WSB can do very well without him.

The BT commentary team are still at it! Tossland on live tv - "Rossi kicked out". These "critics" need to chose their words wisely when on live tv!

It's always the way. People not fit to ties his boots, as they say, being the harshest critics of all.

You guys seriously need to take off the rose tinted Rossi specs, it's hilarious

The commentators may not have reached the pinnacle that Rossi has reached, but these guys know as much as we do and more than likely a damn sight more. They have raced at the very highest level and are in touch with the pulse of the paddock and the teams and other press people.

ROSSI WAS OUT OF ORDER AND IS VERY LUCKY TO GET A SECOND CHANCE. Get over it and be grateful your man is still in the race.

My older brother lives in the Almeria region of Spain and after the shenanagans in Sepang tried to get tickets for Valencia but the meeting had suddenly sold out !! we've been in contact all day via "whatsapp" discussing the various senerios that could unfold, he's just told me a friend of his has 2 tickets and 3 night accomodation in Valencia for this weekend and earlier in the week was offered 5000euros for them but turned the offer down coz he wanted to be there to witness Danny Kent lifting the Moto3 crown and Lorenzo being taken out on turn 2 :rotflmmfao: , would be brill to be able to say "I was there" in years to come, can't wait till tomorrow,

ROSSI WAS OUT OF ORDER AND IS VERY LUCKY TO GET A SECOND CHANCE. Get over it and be grateful your man is still in the race.

MotoGP rules state - any rider reaching four penalty points starts the next race from the back of the grid, while seven points lead to a pitlane start and 10 points a race ban.

VR already had 1 penalty point (an incident with JL), and was given 3 more for, (no matter if provoked or not), irresponsible riding (running MM wide). Kicks real or imaginary were not why the penalty was imposed.

VR is in the race under the penalty point system currently in use and so is entitled to race. Penalty points have previously been awarded for irresponsible riding although not 3 AFAIK. The number of penalty points awarded is Race Directors choice. Other riders (e.g. AI) have been awarded 1 PP for irresponsible riding.

So luck has no part to play - race direction does, I believe, use considered and constructive argument to arrive at decisions. If one considers a penalty too lenient or too harsh - hard lines - race direction call the shots not us.

No specs, Rossi tinted or otherwise, were worn while composing this post.

Single-handedly reviving the Wave.
