Talk about 1 step forward then slam in reverse.

Fixed the main fuse issue (not pretty but functional)

Then took off thermostat housing and put in new seal and thermostat only to find its the housing thats fucked when i put it back together.

Its almost always the thermo housing lid due to its terrible design....you can buy the thermo... but not the lid..go figure. I modified a 4TX to fit.

I've siliconed mine in the past but you best let it set before replacing back on the bike so you can tidy it up if need be, also a thread on here somewhere of a bracket made to keep the housing closed..

NOW everything is finally fixed and running I've realised that i don't really use the bike much since haven’t commuted to work on it in years so only do under 500 km a year in the last 4 years. So, time to sell while the weathers warm and hopefully get some of the money spent on it back and possibly something else more modern???

Could get a cheap convertible instead for a fun car like:

MX5 but need to be a hairdresser.

Z3 then i need stop indicating.

MGTF but will need to replace engine and suspension regularly.

MR2 Mk3 but can only carry myself and small matchbox for luggage.

Or pay off some debt but that’s boring.
