Thought she were quite plucky to give it a whirl and get back on whilst contantly fallin oft.

Did the whole trio thing remind anyone else of the bit in Spinal Tap where "Janine" flies out to join the tour. biggrin.gif

IMO, Eve (the wife) gives us girl bikers a bad name, she was falling off for no reason at all. I mean fancy doing a trip like that when you have only just learnt to ride and probably done very limited off road. My husband said he would not attempt it with his limited experience. I won't watch the next series if she is going to be in it because apart from anything else it changes the whole relationship between the boys.

If you want a good read try Lois on the Loose, it puts Ewans dear wife to shame and shows IMHO just how much spirit female riders can have!!

Is she the one who rides a Serrow from North to South America. If so that was the reason I started looking for a Serrow to mess around off road on, as they are low seat hieght. I agree there are plenty of gutsy girls out there but Eve just ain't one of them. smile.gif

I don't commute, I just go for a ride morning and afternoon!

Lois did Alaska to south America on her own. My wife is also one of those women who made remarks on the fact Eve should not have been invited to join the others with her limited experience on bikes. Should not blame her but Ewan for egging her on!! Mandi are you on CRMCC?

If you remember the 1st progam when Ewan said about Eva going along Charlie shoud have said "NO"...
I do feel sorry for Charlie cos they had been riding for 3 months as a great team then Ewans "trouble and strife" turns up and splits the team up!!! So charlie had to go a different way down.... sad.gif
If I was him I would just have sat behind Eve pulling stonking wheelies besides her to make her pittyfull riding look even worse.

They could have made the series longer... lets face it 3 and a half months into 6hrs come on bbc.

My Super Modded TDM has gone to a new home :(

Exactly. Ewan, and certainly his wife (oh, please, please let me play with you), just didn't seem to get that, despite all the non-verbal coming his way from Charley. It totally screwed up the dynamic. The Macgregor clan need educating about mate-ship.

Blue 04 TDM,PR2 rear Roadsmart front, Yamaha topox, Givi E360 panniers, PL pannier holders, BMW handguards, Yamaha touring screen, Scottoiler, 12v ciggie socket, carbon core HT leads
