OK guys. I have booked and paid a deposit for 8 places in the Aviemore Bunkhouse for the nights of 15 & 16 September in..er...Aviemore, and so far 6 places have been taken up. Plan is to meet up on the Friday, do some drinking and eating and a lot of taking the piss rotflmmfao.gif Saturday will be taken up with a rideout where we can go north, south, east or west - the roads are all magic and generally light on traffic and police. Saturday night will be a repeat of Friday night. Sunday will find people heading away but another rideout could be incorporated into this no doubt. The bunkhouse is next door to a pub that does good beer and food (that's a bit pricey though). I tend to frequent the Cairngorm Hotel on the main street where the beer and grub is a lot cheaper and the staff are magic. smile.gif smile.gif It's only a five minute walk away as well.

So at the moment I have two places free for anyone interested so first come first served just send me a tenner deposit to secure. banana.gif banana.gif

Yes if the two places I have spare at the moment are still spare then. If the places have gone you still might be able to book places yourself if the bunkhouse has spare capacity.

http://www.biscayneguesthouse.co.uk

(Can someone turn this into a hyperlink cos I'm a soddin Luddite!).

Sounds good to me but i'm in Glasgow so its only "Doon the Watter" , but i would enjoy a get together since i've only had my TDM since May. It would be good to meet a few others.

Let me know when your thinking of heading down.

Jimmy, you've skipped to the end of the thread without reading the middle!!

The meet's in Aviemore , just a WEE bit further than Largs. I reckon on at least 2 hours to get there and that would be cracking on a bit.

I can't make it , I'm back shift (as I was for RTT06) and no chance of time off.

I was planning to head up in the afternoon and take in a few good roads along the way - trying to co-ordinate with Emmett and AE. I could get away for about 2.30pm, not sure if Alan has to work that afternoon (?) It's a holiday weekend hereabouts though, lots of peeps will be heading off. The long range forecast suggests weather will be v good in mid Sept, so fingers crossed. unsure.gif
